Ethanol Fuel Too Expensive

Published torsdag 21 september 2006 kl 14.49

Sweden’s environment conscious car drivers are turning their backs on ”green” ethanol fuel and pumping in common petrol instead, because it’s cheaper.

According to statistics, fewer people in Sweden are choosing to tank up with the environmentally friendly E85 fuel because of the cost and instead fill their hybrid cars with normal petrol.

The sale of green cars, in particular the hybrid cars which can use either etahnol or petrol fuel, continues to go well in Sweden but according to swedish public service news, it now looks like many of those environmentally friendly cars aren’t so green after all.
