Medical Risks for Overweight Mothers and Babies

A study of 150,000 Swedish women having their second  babies shows that those who have gained too much weight since their first baby was born have much greater risks of getting medical problems.

This includes pregnancy poisioning and diabeties, blood pressure problems and other ailments.

The second baby runs the risk of being overweight and dying in the last stages of pregnancy.
