Leijonborg’s Popularity Unaffected by Scandal
A new poll indicates that Liberal Party leader Lars Leijonborg’s credibility has apparently not been affected by the recent computer network intrusion scandal within the party.
While only 30 percent of those surveyed say they have much or very much trust in Leijonborg, a relatively low level, that figure has remained fairly stable over the past year. Fifty-eight percent say they have little or no trust in the Liberal leader.
When it was revealed that the press secretary of the Young Liberals had accessed the Social Democrat party’s internal computer network without permission, he resigned, along with the Liberal’s party secretary.
