"Fight Club" Discovered In Stockholm

Published torsdag 5 oktober 2006 kl 13.09
A scene from the film "Fight Club."

Newspapers here are carrying reports of the discovery of a now , not so secret bare-knuckle boxing club which takes it’s inspiration from the Brad Pitt film ”fight Club.”

The tabloid ”Aftonbladet” which broke the story, wrote that just like in the film, the participants fight until one of them is lifeless and bloody on the ground. The men are said to include estate agents, salesmen, and well known figures from the Swedish film industry. Professional boxing is outlawed in Sweden but police sources said that privately arranged bare-knuckle boxing events are entirely legal.
