Sweden maintained a perfect record in the Euro 2008 soccer qualifying round, with a 2-0 win over Spain Saturday.

Goals from Johan Elmander and Marcus Allbäck gave the hosts their third win in as many games, following earlier victories against Latvia and Liechtenstein.

The Swedes were without their star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose refusal to play was reportedly because of dissatisfaction with national team coach Lars Lagerbäck.
