Social Democrats in Secret Talks with Far Right Party

Social Democrats in the southern town of Trelleborg have secretly been negotiating with the far right party Sweden Democrats to be able to maintain power in the local council.

The negotiations have come as a shock as all established political parties in Sweden, from the right to the left, have said they would not cooperate with the anti-immigrant party.

Sweden Democrat party leader, Jimmie Åkesson, claims that the talks in Trelleborg are not an exception and that his party has been contacted by several other parties on how cooperation in the future could be achieved.

Social Democratic party secretary Marita Ulvskog claims her party ”does not” cooperate with the Sweden Democrats on any political level.
