Thanks to the choir and orchestra, the Swedish Radio Ltd is able to offer listeners all over the country cultural events of high quality. Regardless of income or place of residence, people have access to live broadcasts of classical music of very high quality offering amazing musical experiences.

Through the collaboration with EBU (European Broadcasting Union), many of the concerts at Berwaldhallen are broadcast in other countries (sometimes more than 20), giving the programmes an audience of several people.

Berwaldhallen has a special responsibility for Swedish music, manifested in the large number of commissions from Swedish composers.

In addition, the choir and orchestra make several studio recordings, almost all of which involves Swedish music.
