I andra programmet (av tre) skildrar Staffan gruppens musikaliska höjdpunkter under åren 1965-67.
The Beatles berättar om deras planer på att måla Buckingham Palace och vi får höra John Lennon tacka Ringo för att han sjungit ”Yesterday”. Staffan avslöjar vem Paul McCartney egentligen angett som kompositör av ”Yesterday”. Baklängesslutet på ”Rain” spelas upp baklänges (!!) och vad var det som gjorde att The Beatles slutade turnera?
”Strawberry Fields Forever” och ”Sgt Pepper” är några av de musikaliska höjdpunkterna 1967.
Beatles 50 år firas också i Sveriges Television!
Lördagen den 20 oktober visar SVT2 först (kl 19.30) en dokumentär om inspelningen av Beatles film 'Magical Mystery Tour'. Därefter kl 20.00 får vi se hela filmen 'Magical Mystery Tour' som aldrig tidigare visats i Sveriges Television!
Firandet av The Beatles 50 år fortsätter sedan kl 20.55 med ett entimmesprogram om Paul McCartney och hans konsert "Kisses From The Bottom" från 2012 !
