Swimming Gold and Silver for Alshammar
Swedish swimmer Therese Alshammar has won gold and silver medals at the world championships in Melbourne.
On Saturday the Stockholmer took Sweden’s first gold, in the 50 meter butterfly, clocking 25.91 seconds, putting her victory down to ”dedication and focus”.
Alshammar was beaten into second place in the 50 meter freestyle, just 9/100’s of a second behind Australian champion Libby Lenton.
