Volvo Recalls 56,000 Cars
Volvo Cars, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, has recalled 56,000 vehicles worldwide.
The recall includes the company’s latest V70 and XC 70 models as well as older models from 2006.
Eighteen thousand of Volvo’s 2008 models are being recalled due to faulty airbags. Thirty-eight thousand larger cars that came off the production line in 2006 have been recalled amidst fears that faulty fuel injection clamps could cause fires.
Sweden, Britain, Germany, Italy and the U.S. are said to be the countries most affected.
