An Apple and a Jog a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

While it’s an open secret that physical activity such as a jog around the park or a brisk walk is good for the heart as well as the soul, did you know that physical activity prescribed by a doctor can be used in the prevention and treatment of over 30 illnesses including osteoporosis and schizophrenia?  

Sweden’s National Institute of Public Health has published the evidence and wants more doctors in the country to prescribe ”physical activity” to their patients.
