Sweden To Host UN Iraq Conference
Sweden wants to host a UN conference on Iraq, according to Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.
Speaking to Swedish journalists in Bucharest where he is attending the NATO summit as a guest, Reinfeldt says he wants to hold the conference at the end of May.
It would concentrate on civilian activities to rebuild the war-torn country, he said, and added that he had already discussed the plans with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.
