Photos of the Everyday Life

Sweden’s Lennart Nilsson is one of the world’s most renowned scientific photographers and his book, A Child is Born, documenting previously unseen photos of how a new human life develops from the very beginning, made him famous when it was first published in 1965.

But it’s his work as a photo journalist, capturing everyday life in Stockholm in the forties and fifties, that has now been collated into a book and celebrated with a photo exhibition in the capital.
