Swedish Authorities Prepare for Pandemic

After the World Health Organization’s decision to raise the alert level to five, one step short a pandemic, Sweden is now preparing for an outbreak of the swine flu. So far, all the Swedes monitored for the virus have tested negative, but it might just be a matter of time until the first case is confirmed here. The National Board of Health and Welfare is already activating its pandemic plans.
