Sweden Face Canada, Again
Sweden is to play Canada in the semi finals of the Ice Hockey World Championships for the 4th year in a row. Sweden won in 2006, but lost out both in 2007 and 2008 and so is hoping for revenge in this evening’s match in Bern.
Sweden made it to the semi following a win against the Czech Republic 3-1 Thursday evening.
The winner of tonight’s semi final will meet the winner of the other semi between Russia and the USA in the final on Sunday.
