Biologists Say Baltic Cod Still Endangered

Some Swedish marine biologists are warning the politicians not to go ahead and increase the quotas on cod-fishing in the Baltic Sea - insisting that several more years of protective measures are needed to allow a full recovery in the over-fished sea.

Some Swedish and other Baltic politicians have been calling for higher fishing quotas - claiming that the threatened cod fish have been returning to earlier levels.
