Pirate Bay Judge Accussed of Bias
More controversial revelations have come in Sweden’s sensational Pirate Bay court case which has found 4 men guilty of helping others illegally download music and films from the internet without paying royalties.
New disclosures show that the presiding judge is even more compromised than earlier suspected by being a member of a Swedish organization connected to an international lobby group demanding harder punishment for those violating copyright regulations.
The defense lawyers are demanding that the case by re-tried.
The four are appealing their sentences of one year in prison and a large fine.
