Second Fatality in Sweden
The Swedish health authorities have registered the second fatality from swine flu in this country.
At a press conference held in the city of Västerås in central Sweden Thursday afternoon, the county council of Västmanland informed reporters that a 55-year-old man died of the A/H1N1 virus, also known as the novel flu. The man had been treated for cancer and therefore had a weakened immune system.
