Victory in World Cup Cross Country

Sweden won the women’s World Cup cross-country ski relay at Beitolølen, Norway Sunday, finishing 16.7 seconds ahead of Norway's silver and 22 seconds ahead of third place Finland.

Charlotte Kalla overtook the leading Finn a few kilometres into the final leg and held on to secure victory in the 4 x 5 kilometer event. It was Sweden’s first relay win in two years and the only relay to be held before the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in February.
