Domestic Car Sales Rise

After months of negative figures, car sales are on the up again in Sweden. According to Bil Sweden the number of new cars registered went up to 20,126 in November – an increase of 14.3 percent compared with November last year.

Even the number of sold cars of ailing Ford-owned Swedish brand Volvo went up by nearly 11 percent.

But with merely 601 new models sold in November, Saab is still facing a severe downturn. The GM-owned company saw its sales decline by 55 percent.
