2010 Record Year for University Students

Students continue to flock the country's universities, and next year could be a record year, according to the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education. This September there were 20 % more students at Swedish Universities than the year before, and it looks like the trend continues.

There are currently just under 80,000 students at Swedish Universities, but next year, the Agency expects there to be over 100,000. Over the last few years, foreign students have represented the biggest increase, but this autumn it was mainly the number of Swedish students that increased.
