Pedestrians Hit by Falling Ice and Snow
Several people in the Stockholm area have been injured by falling ice and snow from thawing rooftops.
A large quantity of snow fell from the top of a seven storey apartment building onto a 55 year old woman in Blackeberg, in western Stockholm. The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Earlier on Thursday a woman was taken to hospital with head wounds after being hit by falling ice on Södermalm.
