Treating Violent Men Works: Report

Many abusive men stop using violence in their relationships after they receive treatment, according to a new report from The National Board of Health and Welfare. The report indicates that treatment of offending men, not just of women and child victims, is effective measure in fighting domestic abuse.

Swedish Radio News reports that so far this year there have been 6,000 police reports from abused women. That's an increase of 11 percent from the same period last year.
