Relatively calm night in Stockholm suburbs
Overall, Sunday saw a relatively quiet night in the Stockholm suburbs, which last week had been in the international spotlight for riots involving car burnings and stone throwing at police.
Early in the night, two cars were burned in Tensta, north of the city, according to news agency TT, and a pre-school was damaged in a fire in Solna, but the area was calm and the police say there is no information so far that the pre-school fire had anything to do with the wave of vandalism in the suburbs last week. Police are still waiting to find out the cause of the fire, which they say, could have been caused by anything from a technical fault to arson.
