Swedish triple in Sprint Final

It was a Swedish top three podium finish in the classic sprint at the end of season FIS Cross-Country World Cup Finals in Falun, Sweden.

Teodor Peterson edged out Emil Jönsson in a photo-finish on Friday with Calle Halfvarsson completing a Swedish triple. The competitors had to fight through challenging snow conditions which have been a feature at World Cup races throughout the cross-country season. Organisers in Falun had to collect extra snow from the ski jumps nearby and place it on the 3.75 km loop.

Skiathlon competitions over 15 km for ladies and 30 km for the men are scheduled on Saturday and the World Cup Finals will be concluded with pursuits on Sunday.
