Confidence in Government Drops

According to a new poll, confidence in Sweden’s minority Social Democratic government is at its lowest level in 8 years.

Forty-five percent of those surveyed say the government is doing a poor or very poor job, a drop of six points from last month.

Only thirty-two percent think the Social Democrats are doing well, while forty-one percent believe the center-right opposition could do better. Swedes go to the polls in parliamentary elections in September next year.
