FC Copenhagen Defeats Malmö FF
IFK Gothenburg to Royal League Final
IFK Gothenburg has made it through to the soccer Royal League final, thanks to Valerenga’s 1-0 win over Brann in an all-Norwegian meeting on Thursday.
But Malmö FF fell short.
Gothenburg is seven points up with one game left to play in their second round three-team group, which they have already won.
They will face either FC Copenhagen or Rosenborg Trondheim from the other group in the final on May 26. Earlier Thursday FC Copenhagen ended Malmö’s hopes of reaching the final by beating them 2-1.
