Interest Rates Left Unchanged
The Swedish Central Bank kept its key repo rate unchanged at an historic low of 2 percent Friday.
The Riksbanken expressed doubts about the strength of economic recovery and forecast low inflation would continue. It did not repeat its comment in the last inflation report that a future hike in rates would still be needed.
The government and unions have been calling for a rate cut to help bring down unemployment, which was 5.5 percent last month.
