She says it is a myth there is little to be found in Egypt, and only a third of the ancient civilisation's artifacts have been uncovered.
Their discovery happened in a quarry that supplied the stone for several of the empire's most prestigious buildings. And that the stone relief is linked to a visit by a pharaoh who wanted to give thanks to the gods who had watched over his building project.
And since the stone carving shows both the royal sun god Amun-Ra and the god of knowledge Thoth, it is one of only a few such discoveries.
