Swedish police join global IT op
Together with authorities in 17 other countries, Swedish police have taken part in an operation to shut down an internet forum used by IT criminals, Swedish Radio News reports.
More than 60 people have been arrested in the operation, which was headed by the FBI.
According to Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter, a 27 year-old Swedish man was among those arrested. He is suspected of fraud and of infecting some 50,000 computers with viruses.
It is unclear where the man, who now faces charges in the US, was at the time of his arrest.
