The value of Sweden's arms exports fell in 2015 from SEK 8 billion to SEK 7.6 billion, according to a report by the Inspectorate for Strategic Products published Wednesday.
Eighty percent of the sales went to the European Union and other stable allies, such as Canada, the United States or South Korea. The largest buyer was Norway, which mainly purchased combat vehicles.
The remaining 20 percent went to 25 other countries, including several dictatorships, such as Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.
