Large fight at refugee housing

A fight broke out at a refugee housing center in the north of Sweden Friday morning. Up to 60 people were involved, but when the police arrived the situation had calmed down.

“We got an alarm that there was a fight and dishes were being thrown, the personnel at the center were unable to deal with the situation and left,” Thomas Shäufele of the Norrbotten Police told the TT news agency.

“It turned out that the fight started between two people, and then more got involved. We’ve detained someone who was under the influence of a drug and aggressive.”

There was another large fight at the same housing center, in Boden, near the city of Luleå, about a month ago.
