Sweden Democrat MEP charged in sexual harassment case
Sweden Democrat Member of the European Parliament Peter Lundgren has been charged with sexual harassment, the Swedish Prosecution Authority said on Friday.
The incident involving a female party colleague took place in a Stockholm hotel room in 2018, Swedish Prosecutors said.
If a sexual harassment charge cannot be proven the prosecutor will ask the court to consider an alternative charge of harassment.
Peter Lundgren said in a written statement to Swedish Radio that nothing irregular happened.
