For Swedes, Christmas isn't Christmas without Donald Duck

For some cultures, turkey is the bird of choice at Christmas. For others it may be goose. But for more than four million Swedes, it's a duck.

Radio Sweden finds out why for the past six decades, Swedes stop what they are doing at 3 pm on Christmas Eve to watch Walt Disney's cartoon compilation "From All Of Us To All Of You", featuring clips of Musse Pigg and Kalla Anka - better known as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

"They tried to take it out and people screamed - 'don't touch it, we won't pay our licence fee - we must have Kalle Anka!'" Swedish Television Christmas host Marianne Mörck tells Radio Sweden.
