Scandinavian airlines prolonged its suspension of direct flights to mainland China on Friday, due to fears over the corona virus.

The airline decided late last month to suspend all flights to and from Shanghai and Beijing. Now SAS said it would extend the flight freeze until March 29th. Its service to Hong Kong will continue as normal.

According to the World Health Organization, there are about 46,000 confirmed cases of the corona virus in China, which has killed about 1,300 people so far.
