Confirmed Coronavirus cases from returning travellers continue to rise as Sweden expands Italy risk warning

The number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Sweden has risen to 35 Wednesday morning, with two new confirmed cases reported in the Gothenburg area, one in Skåne and two in Värmland.

The news comes as Sweden's Public Health Agency expands its list of regions in Italy where anyone who has recently visited is advised to be vigilant about possible symptoms.

The advice now extends to the Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Trentino-Alto Adige, Venice, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Tuscany.
