The National Board of Health and Welfare said it will provide clearer guidelines for prioritizing patients if Sweden starts running out of intensive care units.

As of Thursday morning, Sweden had 28 people receive care in an ICU for the coronavirus. Almost half of them were in Stockholm county.

The Board of Health and Welfare says it wants new guidelines so that health care is balanced between Sweden's 21 counties which manage intensive care units.
