Stockholm city bans visits to old age homes

As hundreds are infected by the novel corona virus and at least 80 are receiving treatment in the nation's capital, Stockholm city says it is stepping up its response.

At the city hall Åsa Jackson is a spokesperson for the centre-right and Green coalition that is in charge.

She says while the mayor has announced new limits on who can visit old age homes, and that most upper secondary classes will be held at a distance, they are not expecting schools to close yet, since that is not yet recommended by the Public Health Agency.
