Anders Tegnell: My comments were overinterpreted
Sweden's state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell insists that the country generally had a good strategy for fighting the coronavirus, after his own comments on the approach gained international media attention.
A Swedish Radio interview with Tegnell, where he said that Sweden perhaps should have taken some of the measures adopted in other countries, was reported on by the Guardian and New York Times among others.
But in the public health agency's daily briefing on Wednesday, Tegnell said that his comments had been overinterpreted.
