Coronavirus means tenants asked to agree to apartments without viewings

The coronavirus pandemic is making life tough for potential tenants deciding on whether to agree to a new apartment, as many have to do so without first viewing the property in person, Swedish Radio reports.

Housing agencies contacted in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö all said that landlords were mostly not holding viewings at the moment.

That means many people who have spent as long as a decade or more waiting for the opportunity to take a rent controlled apartment have to make their decision without properly seeing the place they're being asked to judge.
