Covid-19 spurs growth in online therapy for mental health care

Companies offering therapy online are seeing patients and therapists flock to them in greater numbers as the coronavirus takes its toll on people's mental health.

The Swedish Association of Social and Mental Health (RSMH) says this is a good thing: many of their members suffer from phobias that make it hard to leave their homes to meet a therapist.

But despite all the advantages of digital therapy, psychologist Kirsten Rasmussen doubts it will replace face-to-face therapy anytime soon.
