The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed lengthen the hunting seasons for wildlife that they say causes damage to the environment, such as deer, elks, geese and seals.

The government has sent the proposal out for consultations right now and will consider its changed by no earlier than October.

Besides extending the hunting seasons for deer, geese and moose or elk, it would also make licensed hunting of grey seals, which had been provisional, permanent.
