Criminal 'clan' statement from deputy chief too general, officers say

Sweden's deputy national police chief made headlines earlier this week when he said there were some 40 criminal family enterprises - what he called clans - operating in the country.

Swedish Radio called around to the police's regional surveillance units for their reaction to the interview.

And several of the 7 different police regions questioned Deputy National Police Chief Mats Löfving's claim.
