
Thousands stuck in lottery queue to sit university entrance exam
There was huge interest in registering for the university entrance exam when the registration opened at eight o'clock Friday morning.
"Thousands of people are queuing up to be able to sit the test," the government coordinator responsible, Peter Honeth tells Swedish Radio News.
After a prolonged controversy over whether the university entrance exam would take place at all because of the coronavirus epidemic and the related safety concerns, today marked the opening for registration for the exam, which this autumn is to be carried out on a much smaller scale.
