Prosecutor to drop case on man allegedly isolated for decades in his home

  • A prosecutor said a woman in her 70's is no longer suspected of any crime after her adult son, supposedly kept isolated in their apartment, was taken to hospital.
  • The mother was detained earlier in the week but released on Wednesday, with prosecutors saying they have not found any evidence in their investigation that a crime has been committed.
  • She had denied any wrongdoing.
