Swedish taxi industry hit hard by corona

  • Since the outbreak of Covid-19 the taxi industry's revenue has fallen markedly compared to last year, according to the Swedish Tax Agency.
  • In November the number of Swedish taxis on the roads had fallen by 2,000 vehicles, compared to the 18,500 taxis last year, states the Swedish Transport Agency.
  • Claudio Skubla, union president at the Swedish Taxi Association, says the coming months could be a fatal blow to the taxi industry.
