  • Children and teens aged between 16-18 are committing serious crimes, including murder and attempted murder, on behalf of criminal networks, according to police intelligence.
  • Swedish Radio News spoke to all regional heads of intelligence in the country and found a similar development in several parts of Sweden.
  • "The lower sentences for the young, in conjunction with the respect they earn in the criminal organisations, is enough for some to take the step towards more serious crimes," says Jens Ahlstrand, acting head of the intelligence unit in police Region Väst.
