  • The Corona Commission's report into the care of the elderly during the pandemic is like "an encyclopedia of everything that has gone wrong", says Ingmar Skoog, director of the Centre for Aging and Health at Gothenburg University.
  • Skoog welcomes the report and says he is hopeful it will make a difference, now that the underlying problems in elderly care in Sweden have been exposed.
  • "There has been political unity for a long time that we should get better old-age care, but no-one has really implemented it in a way that has actually made a difference," Skoog says.
