Less travel over Christmas - except to the mountains
- Compared to last Christmas, Swedes' travel decreased significantly this year according to SVT News, which has seen new data by mobile phone operator Telia.
- However trips to the mountains continued at the same level as before.
- The figures show that longer trips on the days around Christmas decreased by 40 percent compared to last year - while shorter trips within municipalities reduced by 17 percent.
