More searches for missing people during the pandemic
- The number of searches for people who have gone missing, launched by the organisation Missing People, increased by more than 50 percent last year.
- Officials at the volunteer organisation cite increased mental illness and social isolation under the pandemic as one explanation why.
- The biggest group searched for in 2020 was people aged 16-20 years old says Missing People chairman Magnus Idebro.
